Testimonials

Rehab here is good. Everyone on the rehab staff was kind and sociable, which made it fun while getting better. The therapists listen to how I am feeling and work with me to reach my goals. They are good group of people.

Mary KlingerResident

I like the rehab here at Rose City. My therapist listens to me and what goals I want to achieve and my care is centered around me and my goals. The therapists are friendly and funny and we have a great time during my sessions.

Denise CostelloResident

I have a lot of pain in my knees and it was hard and painful to walk. The group in rehab made it fun and helped me get up and walk every day. I am happy to be able to walk. They are a great group of therapists.

On Friday, February 14th Mr. Richard Sprout, whom is a Long Term Care resident at Rose City got to return to duty! He is a retired Lancaster City Fireman, that had served the Lancaster Community for 30 years. He also served his country in the Army, so he has always been a man of service to others!

Our Hospital Liaison, Stephanie Hertzog, reached out to the fire department and the department historian to come surprise Dick with a visit and to also bring some of the trucks. They came through with bringing several firemen, an engine, a tanker and the original engine that Dick himself actually drove while serving the community. One of the firemen actually located it about a year ago and bought it and is working to restore it! Dick had this biggest smile and tears of joy, he couldn't believe "How'd she find me!" He pretty much wanted to run to it!

Dick and his wife were soo surprised!! They even brought some archive photos from when Dick was fighting fires, etc.

To top it all off, the visit ended with a Valentine's date! The Sprout's got a ride around town and past his old station house!

So much laughter, smiles, tears of happiness and joy this day!!!

For part of this day Mrs. Sprout got her husband back! 🚒♥️

Happy Valentine’s Day from the Sprouts! ♥️

We have known each other growing up, my parents lived 2 houses down from my wife’s aunt and uncle’s home. As we got older, one day after I returned from the military Elise and I started to talk and hungout then eventually fell in love and have been married since 1956.

Our best marriage advice is “Stick together through the good and the bad”
